Louise-Marie “LouMa” Marguet is an independent talent buyer who develops culturally relevant lineups for hotels, members’ clubs, real estate developers and special events.

She has booked and negotiated nearly $1 million in artist fees and hospitality packages for talent ranging from emerging acts to global artists, including Tinashe, Pusha T, The Marías, Channel Tres, Cautious Clay, Washed Out, Dasha, Breakbot & Irfane, and Greg Cerrone.

LouMa began talent buying for The Surf Lodge, an experience that marked a turning point in her career and reinforced her passion for helping artists grow through meaningful live opportunities. Since then, she has booked talent for The Snow Lodge, Soho House, Proper Hotels, Chasing Rabbits, Members, etc.

Her work extends beyond booking one-off performances. LouMa approaches each lineup as part of a broader cultural strategy, matching artists with the identity, audience and ambitions of each destination. She specializes in creating intimate, thoughtfully curated experiences where artists can connect meaningfully with new audiences while developing relationships with venues, brands and cultural partners that can contribute to their broader careers.

Born in Paris, LouMa began her music career in New York City in 2011, working in artist marketing at Atlantic Records, Island Def Jam and Republic Records. During this time, she contributed to campaigns for artists including Drake, Rihanna, The Weeknd, Ariana Grande, Kanye West, Bruno Mars and The Killers.

She later joined Universal Music Group in London, where she worked across CRM and digital strategy for UMG labels in more than 40 countries.

Her passion for connecting artists and fans in innovative and meaningful ways led her to found Emojam, a music technology company that created the world’s first platform for emojis with sound. Emojam organically onboarded more than 500 artists including John Legend, Gwen Stefani, Mary J. Blige, Mike Shinoda and Run The Jewels.

The company was later integrated with YouTube, helping creators develop new direct-to-consumer revenue streams and increase their earnings by approximately 20%.

LouMa’s experience across artist marketing, fan engagement, technology, entrepreneurship and live entertainment allows her to understand both the commercial and cultural ambitions of a venue and the long-term priorities of an artist.

Known as a natural connector, she brings together artists, agents, managers, venues, brands and cultural partners to create opportunities that extend beyond a single performance.

Her talent-buying work has been featured in publications including Variety, Forbes, Vogue, Billboard and Rolling Stone.

LouMa is based in Los Angeles and works with clients globally.
